How to reach the 55mm back focal length with ASI cameras?

The back focal length is advised by the telescope manufacturers.
Since almost telescopes take 55mm back focal length, nosotros are providing the detailed guidelines for all our cooled cameras.
Delight be noted that these are but examples for 55mm dorsum focal length,  you lot need to know the back focal length of your reducer and flattener first and then accommodate the adapters.

Find: About minor format, 174, 178, 385, 290, 224, 185, etc. The package does not include some adapters, please take a look at the diagram of the package list in the product description.

i. 4/3", 1" and small format cooled cameras:

ASI1600/294/183/533

1) Without filter drawers or filter wheels:

2) With 1.25"/36mm/31mm EFW:

iii) With ii" EFW:

Notation: The total dorsum focal length of this solution is 56mm; The ii adapters T2-M48 16.5mm and M48-M42 could be replaced past 1 adapter M48-M48 16.5mm.

Annotation: The total back focal length of this solution is 56mm; The T2-tilter needs to be bought separately.

4) With 2" filter drawer:

Notation: The two adapters T2-M48 xvi.5mm and M48-M42 could be replaced by i adapter M48-M48 16.5mm.

5) With OAG-L and two" filter:

If you lot have an OAG-L, merely do not take & want to use whatsoever filter wheel to reach 55mm back focal length. So you can apply the M54 adapter instead. It would also allow you lot to add a 2" filter into the image train.

2. APS-C cooled cameras:

ASI2600/071

1) Without filter drawers or filter wheels:

2) With 36mm EFW:

Annotation: T2-T2 2mm adapter can exist plant in the parcel of 36mm EFW;

Note: The M42 sensor tilt plate attached to the photographic camera needs to be taken off. Yous may need to re-adjust the tilt when re-installing the plate back;

The original OAG can non exist replaced with OAG-50, but if you lot accept the M68 OAG, you lot can use the M68 OAG instead;

This method does not back up the telescopes with M42 threads at the end side.

Notation: This method merely supports the telescopes with M42 or M48 threads at the end side. The M42M-M48F 22.5mm extender needs to exist bought separately.

3) With 2" EFW:

Note: The total dorsum focal length of this solution is 56mm; The two adapters T2-M48 xvi.5mm and M48-M42 could be replaced by 1 adapter M48-M48 sixteen.5mm.

Notation: The total back focal length of this solution is 56mm.

Annotation: The M42 sensor tilt plate attached to the camera needs to be taken off, and y'all may need to re-adjust the tilt when re-installing the plate back;

The original OAG can not be replaced to OAG-Fifty, but if you lot have the M68 OAG, you can also use the M68 OAG instead;

This method does not support the telescopes with M42 threads at the end side.

4) With 2" filter drawer:

The ii adapters T2-M48 16.5mm and M48-M42 could be replaced by one adapter M48-M48 xvi.5mm.

5) With OAG-L and ii" filter:

If you have an OAG-Fifty, simply do not have & want to use any filter wheel to achieve 55mm dorsum focal length. And then you tin use the M54 adapter instead. It would also permit you lot to add a two" filter into the image train.

iii. Full frame cooled cameras:

ASI6200/2400

1) Without filter drawers or filter wheels:

Note: The above two solutions volition both block the sensor a fiddling bit.

ii) With two" EFW:

Note: The M42 sensor tilt plate attached to the camera needs to be taken off, and you may demand to re-adjust the tilt when re-installing the plate dorsum;

The original OAG can not be replaced to OAG-L, but if you have the M68 OAG, you can also apply the M68 OAG instead;

This method does not support the telescopes with M42 threads at the terminate side.

3) With two" filter drawer:

Notation: The back focal length of this solution is 56mm.

Note: This solution but applies to the telescopes with M68 interface threads. If the threads of your telescope is M42 or M48, and then we recommend DIY the relative adapters or choose the 2" EFW.

5) With OAG-Fifty and 2" filter:

If you have an OAG-Fifty, but practise not have & want to use any filter bicycle to reach 55mm back focal length. Then you tin can use the M54 adapter instead. It would also allow you to add a ii" filter into the image train.
